Sinoma-EC successfully signed the waste heat recovery investment project with the Philippines APO Cement Corporation

On March 23, 2017, the waste heat recovery investment agreement between Sinoma-EC and CEMEX Philippines APO Cement Corporation was signed in Tianjin, China.
Chairman of Sinoma-EC Mr. Zhang Qi and president of CEMEX Philippines Mr. Pedro Jose Palomino signed the agreement on behalf of each party. Vice president of CNBM Mr. Huang Anzhong, general director of CNBM International Cooperation Department Mr. Li Zhiwei, president of Sinoma-EC Mr. Hu Yeming, secretary of the party committee Mr. Liu Xide, president assistant Mr. Wang Yi, Energy Planning & Development manager of CEMEX Ms. Lucia, energy director of CEMEX Philippines Mr. Eduardo and others attended the ceremony.
On the signing ceremony, vice president of CNBM Mr. Huang Anzhong congratulated the signing between Sinoma-EC and CEMEX group, introduced the conditions of recombination of Sinoma-EC and CNBM, meanwhile, expressed that as well-known building material groups of the world’s building material industry and members of CSI, CNBM group and CEMEX group should enhance communication, carry out board cooperation in various business areas, at the same time, required Sinoma-EC to do projects elaborately according to international standard, carry out investment projects overseas within main business areas, further expand the business scope of international cooperation.
The Philippines APO Cement Corporation waste heat recovery investment project is the second cooperation between Sinoma-EC and CEMEX group after the successfully execution of the Philippines SOLID waste heat recovery project. SOLID project synchronized at the end of March, 2015, every technical index maintains well during the two years’ operation, it can meet 25% electricity demand of cement line, and reduce thirty thousand tons carbon emission per year, it is also a very good project of comprehensive utilization of resources. Chairman of Sinoma-EC Mr. Zhang Qi expressed in his speech that he was satisfied with the cooperation between the two parties, and showed gratitude to CEMEX group for their trust and supporting. He also said that Sinoma-EC would give full play to the advantage of fund, technology, equipments process, project management, operation management and other areas, to push and achieve all the expectant economic and technical indexes.
President of CEMEX Philippines Mr. Pedro Jose Palomino expressed that the successful execution of Philippines SOLID project got highly recognized from CEMEX group, fully affirmed the advanced technology, high quality project construction and efficient operation management of Sinoma-EC. He also said that Promotion of energy efficiency and sustainable development was the joint pursuing of CEMEX and Sinoma-EC. The cooperation of APO project would certainly reduce the energy cost of cement line, he had full of confidence in the successfully cooperation of this project, and showed gratitude to the always supporting from Sinoma-EC.
